De Aliprandini, third place to frame

Splendid third place for Luca De Aliprandini in the giant slalom in Adelboden, valid for the Alpine Ski World Cup. It's the second career podium for the Italian skier, who è finished behind only the phenomenal Swiss Marco Odermatt and compatriot Loic Meillard.

De Aliprandini è was the author of a superlative comeback, finishing the second run with the best time. Eleventh was Filippo della Vite, eighteenth Alex Vinatzer.

"Fantastic really, I really don’t know what to say. The more the track è difficult, the more I get excited: after the mistake in the first run I didn’t think it was possible to recover so much. I am super happy: we have worked a lot and this year I feel really good, both with the materials and physically".

There'è a little bit of regret for the mistake in the first run: "I knew I did everything perfect except for that door. In the second one I managed to do everything I had in mind, I felt I was going strong all over the track: to be on the podium in Adelboden è something fantastic".
