“Boorish taunting chorus”: fine arrives for AC Milan

Milan, fine of 15 thousand euros

Serie A Sporting Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea has fined as many as seven of the eighteen clubs that took the field between Friday, January 10 and Sunday, January 12. The heaviest è was received by AC Milan, amounting to 15 thousand euros. Bologna, Lecce, Venezia, Torino, Juventus and Roma were also punished. The total fines amounted to 35,500 euros. Below are the decisions of the Giudice Sportivo and their reasons:

Fine of € 15,000.00: to Soc. MILAN for having, its supporters, during the match, intoned a boorish chorus of mockery towards the supporters of the opposing team; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS; as well asé by way of objective responsibility, for having unjustifiably delayed the start of the first half and second half by about three minutes.

Fine of € 5,000.00: to Soc. BOLOGNA for having its supporters, during the match, throwing a smoke bomb and numerous half-filled glasses into the playing area; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 5,000.00: to Soc. LECCE for not having, its supporters, respected the minute of silence ordered by F.I.G.C.

Fine of € 4,000.00: to Soc. VENEZIA for having its supporters, at the 33° of the second half, launched two smoke bombs on the field of play that caused the interruption of the match for about thirty seconds; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 3,000.00: to Soc. TORINO for having its supporters, during the match, throwing a smoke bomb and three small bottles into the playing area; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 2,000.00: to Soc. JUVENTUS for having its supporters, at the 35° of the second half, launched a firecracker in the playing enclosure; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 1,500.00: to Soc. ROMA for having its supporters, at the 13° of the second half, launched a smoke bomb in the playing enclosure; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, comma 1 lett. b) CGS.
