Juventus-Alberto Costa: è done

Juventus strikes the first blow of the January soccer market. According to reports from Sky Sport, in fact, è made for Alberto Costa, a Portuguese right-back owned by Vitoria Guimaraes.

The Bianconeri club has reached an agreement with the Lusitanian one for the outright purchase of the class of 2003 for a sum of 12 million euros plus 2 bonuses, with low costs in the first year (about 3.5 million euros), thus beating competition from Roma, which was also interested in the Portuguese.

Alberto Costa è expected in Turin on Wednesday when he will undergo medical examinations and sign a contract with a €500,000 salary. The Portuguese will be available to coach Thiago Motta for the super challenge with AC Milan, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. at Allianz Stadium.

In the first part of this season, Alberto Costa scored one goal (in the Conference League, ed.) and provided 3 assists in 21 appearances among all competitions.
