Milan, skips Okafor transfer: Rashford at risk, sacrifice needed

No Leipzig for Noah Okafor. The Swiss striker failed to pass his routine medical examinations and will not move to Germany in January. This was revealed by Sky. Milan and Leipzig had reached an agreement on the basis of an onerous loan with redemption for a total of 28 million euros but the plans fell through.

The Diavolo thus finds itself forced to revise its market strategies: the Milanese club is still aiming to sign Rashford, with whom it already has an agreement in principle, but it must first free up space in the attack in order to get to Manchester United’s Englishman.

Skipped Okafor, the two suspects for departure are now Luka Jovic, who has a hefty salary of 3 million euros a year, and Samuel Chukwueze, also not central in Sergio Concei&#ccedil;ao plans.

Milan must hurry, because Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are also on Rashford.
