Italian pairs smile: ahead Errani/Paolini and Bolelli/Vavassori

Double tie-break victory for Adelaide tournament winners
Good news comes from the doubles tournaments in Melbourne. Both the men’s pair Bolelli/Vavassori and the women’s pair, namely Errani/Paolini, won their respective matches, continuing their adventure at the Australian Open.
The Bolelli/Vavassori duo got the better of the match against the pair formed by Darderi's Italian player and Hidalgo's Ecuadorean player. Lots of balance in the match, with the two blues able to impose themselves with two tie-breaks (the second one remounting a 4-1 partial in favor of the opponents). The Bolelli/Vavassori pair, in the next round, will face the Spaniards Martinez and Munar.
Excellent tournament debut also for Errani and Paolini. The golden pair of Italian tennis overcame the Australian duo Hon/Saville in two sets (6-1, 7-5), in a match that lasted one hour and 52 minutes. After dominating the first partial, some difficulties for the Olympic champions, who were nevertheless good at recovering (they were down 3-5) with a stunning final set.
In the next round, Errani and Paolini (they are the number 4 seed in the women’s doubles draw) will face the Russian pair Andreeva and Shnaider for what è a rematch of the Olympic final. Immediately a tough obstacle for the two blues, eager to get ahead as much as possible in Melbourne.
