Manchester City, monstrous renewal for Erling Haaland

The sporting marriage between Manchester City and bomber Erling Haaland è is set to continue for a long time to come. In fact, the Mancunian club announced on Friday the maxi-contract extension for the Norwegian, which will expire at the end of the 2033-2034 football season, when Haaland will be 34 years old.

"I am really happy to have signed my new contract, I can look forward to the future knowing that I will still spend a long time at this great club,” said the striker, whose promise is practically to play for almost his entire career with the Citizens. “Manchester City è a special club, full of fantastic people, with extraordinary fans: è the kind of environment that helps everyone to give their best.

"I also want to thank Pep Guardiola, his technical staff, my teammates and everyone who works at the club,” Haaland added, “because they have helped me so much over the last few years. They have made this a very special place. My goal è to continue to grow, work to improve further and do my best to help the club achieve new success".

Haaland è at Manchester City (a club where his father, Alf-Inge, also played at the beginning of the new millennium) from 2022, coming from Borussia Dortmund. To the tune of goals, he helped the Citizens win two Premier Leagues, an FA Cup and a Community Shield, as well as the Champions League-Uefa Super Cup-Club World Cup triptych in 2023.
