Obereggen, the heart of the “Latemar-Dolomites“ ski area (20 minutes from Bolzano), hosted the City of Bolzano Trophy, now in its 77th° edition, held at night on the illuminated Oberholz slope, which is part of the “Latemar Sixpack”, literally “The 6 Latemar Abs” as many as the 6 breathtaking slopes of the area.
On Oberholz the giant è was won in the men’s field by Martin Schmuck (Seiser Alm) in 1’03.41; in the women’s by Alexia Tabarelli (Asv Ora) in 1‘.07.61. Numerous participation of masters, youth, seniors athletes in men’s and women’s categories despite the fluctuating temperature between -6° at the start to -4° degrees at the finish.
WINNERS. Martin Schmuck (Seiser Alm) in 1’03.41, first overall and in the Youth/Senior category; in the women’s victory signed by Alexia Tabarelli (Asv Auer Ora) in 1‘.07.61, excelling in the Youth/Senior; in the Masters A victory of Luca Tiezza (Ski Team Alta Badia); in the Masters B success of Christian Oberthaler (Sc Ultimo-Ulten); in the female Masters C first step of the podium for Mirjam Gschnitzer (Rg Wipptal).
