 Everton-Tottenham, the probable formations

The 22nd day of the Premier League sees two struggling teams facing each other: Everton and Tottenham. The Toffees, with a margin of only one point on the relegation zone, currently occupied by Ipswich Town, are coming from three consecutive league defeats, during which they failed to score. Spurs are not having a better time, having scored just one win in their last 9 Premier games, beating Southampton, the league tail-end.

For Everton è only one change is expected from the recent game against Aston Villa. Pickford will be confirmed between the posts. In defense, Tarkowski and Branthwaite will operate as center backs, with Young and Mykolenko at right and left back, respectively. In the midfield, Mangala and Gueye will form the central pair, while Ndiaye è confirmed on the left flank. On the right, Lindstrom seems to have a slight advantage over Harrison. Doucouré è expected in the trequartista role behind central striker Calvert-Lewin. Broja remains in doubt, and the injured Coleman, Iroegbunam, McNeil and Chermiti will be absent.

For Tottenham, Werner joins the list of unavailable players, which already includes Vicario, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie, Bentancur and Odobert. Postecoglou has recovered Richarlison and Forster and also hopes to count on Bissouma and Johnson, who are not at their best after the last match with Arsenal. Almost the entire starting eleven seen at the Emirates will be confirmed. Kinsky è favored in goal over Forster, still not in the best condition. The four-man defense will see Porro and Spence as full-backs, while Dragusin and Gray will be the center-backs. In the middle of the field, Sarr will act as defensive director, with Maddison and Bergvall as inside backs. In attack, Solanke will be; the central reference, flanked by Kulusevski and Son on the wings.
