Udinese-Atalanta 2-2, Monza-Spezia 2-0, Salernitana-Hellas Verona 2-1.

Atalanta did not need a near-perfect 60 minutes to get the better of an indomitable will Udinese, which was able to come back from two goals down and close one of the most anticipated challenges of the ninth round of Serie A at 2-2.

At the ‘Dacia Arena,’ the orobici went through in the 36th minute through Ademola Lookman and doubled in the 56th minute with Luis Muriel, deluding themselves into thinking they could, at least momentarily, get back to +3 on Napoli. Preventing this are the rabid last 30 minutes of Sottil’s Bianconeri: Gerard Deulofeu shortens in the 67th minute, Nehuen Perez signs the equalizer in the 78th minute. Atalanta thus rises to 21 points, Udinese remains a length behind.

Third consecutive victory, on the other hand, for a Monza still perfect under the technical management of Raffaele Palladino: at the ‘U-Power Stadium’ it is Spezia to fall, 2-0, with Carlos Augusto (32′) and Pablo Marì (63′) to inscribe their names on the scorers’ table.

Emotions to no end at the ‘Arechi’ stadium: Piatek put Salernitana ahead in the 18th minute, Depaoli signed Hellas Verona’s equalizer in the 56th minute and 1-1 seemed to be the final score. However, it was Boulaye Dia, in the 94th minute, who sent the home fans into a frenzy: the final 2-1 was Salernitana’s first win since last August 28. Nervous ending: Radovanovic and Ceccherini (the latter not from the field) sent off close to the triple whistle.
