The national women’s basketball team is preparing for its fifth qualifying engagement at Women’s EuroBasket 2025 with the game the Azzurre will play against Germany (8:30 p.m., live Sky Sports) on Thursday, February 6 at PalaCattani in Faenza.

Italy è already qualified as the host country by virtue of the group that will be played at PalaDozza in Bologna from June 18 to 21: the other groups will be played in Czechia (Brno), Germany (Hamburg) and Greece (Piraeus).

The technical staff coordinated by coach Andrea Capobianco has issued the convocations in view of the meeting that will begin on Sunday, February 2, in Castel San Pietro Terme (Bologna): after the challenge to Germany, the Azzurre will fly to Brno to face the Czech Republic on Sunday, February 9, at 4 p.m. (live Sky Sport). On Feb. 5 at 3:30 p.m., the Municipality of Faenza will host the press conference to present the match.

At the moment, the Azzurre are leading Group I together with Germany itself, having achieved 3 wins and 1 loss in their previous 4 outings.
