Genoa working on post-Gollini: Alessio Cragno and more on the list

For one goalkeeper who has gone, another will come.

Genoa soccer market: Pierluigi Gollini has quit the Grifone shirt to move to Roma, and the Rossoblù management is working to give Patrick Vieira a new goalkeeper. Several profiles are under consideration by the club, and there is no shortage of prestigious names. Among the main candidates, forò that of Alessio Cragno stands out.

He also ended up on the major national team’s roster at the time of Cagliari, the Tuscan goalkeeper è back from difficult seasons between Monza and Sassuolo. Still owned by the Brianza club, his agent Francesco Branchini confirmed that Cragno è out of the biancorossi projects and that Genoa could represent more than just an idea for his future.

There is no shortage of alternatives, however, one of which leads to Jesse Joronen. The experienced Finnish goalkeeper no longer has space in Venice because of Filip Stankovic's explosion and could leave the Laguna, although in the knowledge that at Genoa he would equally cover the role of twelfth, albeit to Nicola Leali.

The last option under consideration by Genoa è the one leading to Marco Silvestri, who after his excellent seasons at Verona and Udinese saw himself closed in bianconero by Okoye so much that he accepted a transfer in Serie B to Sampdoria. Even in the blucerchiato he did not find forò the certainty of a starting jersey, so much so that a move to the other city team was possible.
