Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich wants to bounce back immediately after the heavy 3-0 loss to Feyenoord in the Champions League and aims to redeem itself in the match against Freiburg, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25, at 3:30 p.m. The Bavarians are looking for their fifth consecutive Bundesliga win to put pressure on Bayer Leverkusen, while the hosts, coming off a non-positive period, need to score to stay in the race for Europe. 

Coach Julian Schuster is expected to confirm the 4-2-3-1: Atubolu will have space in goal, with Ginter and Lienhart in the center of defense. In midfield, Eggestein and Osterhage will manage the maneuver, while Dinkci, Ritsu Doan and Vincenzo Grifo, the season’s star player with 8 assists and 7 goals, will act in the three-quarter.
