On Saturday, Jan. 25, at 3:30 p.m., Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen will face each other in the 19thª day of the Bundesliga in a match that promises to be a crackling one. The hosts are looking for a win to revive themselves after a complicated period and stay in the race for fourth place. Xabi Alonso’s men, on the other hand, need to keep pace with top-ranked Bayern Munich ahead of February’s direct clash. 

Leipzig, plagued by numerous injuries, absolutely must regain victory to get back into the race for fourth place. Marco Rose will rely on Openda and Sesko in attack, while behind them will be the quality of Xavi Simons and Nusa. In defense Orban and Seiwald, the two central defenders, will have to protect Gulacsi’s goal. 

Xabi Alonso is expected to opt for the 3-4-2-1, in defense, in front of Kovar, there will be the trio composed of Tapsoba, Tah and Hincapie. In midfield, Xhaka will lead the maneuver flanked by Palacios, while on the outsides will act the tireless Frimpong and Grimaldo. In attack, Schick favored over Tella, supported by Wirtz and Terrier.
