Nicola Pietrangeli in an interview with Ansa commented on Jannik Sinner's latest triumph at the Australian Open, which has overtaken him as the number of Grand Slam tournaments won: "Records must be broken, then the accounts are made at the end of careers. But Jannik is exaggerating… (laughs, ed.)".
"Anyway, he deserves everything for how he plays and how he behaves on and off the field. I hope people will now stop thinking I'm mad at him. Someone said that I was gnawing, but just imagine".
"È amazing how easily he can win, he is flying right now. At the beginning of the tournament, to myself, I got the prediction right becauseé I had given that it would be a piece of cake. Today no one in the world can beat him, at most he can lose if he is sick. There'è no meat for cats".
