Sofia Goggia is fine with it: ‘I thought it was all over’

Sofia Goggia is okay with thisì: "I thought it was all over"
Sofia Goggia failed to repeat herself in Garmisch. After her second place in the downhill, the Italian finished the SuperG just off the podium, in fourth place, behind Federica Brignone, who è climbed to the lowest step of the podium.
"Overall è it was a smart downhill; I came out too far to the right at the’entrance to the’Inferno and I couldn’t ski hard on that course,” the Bergamasque commented to FISI channels. I am so happy that I had a good season so far. In reconnaissance my coach saw me a little doubtful and said 'Let’s remember how we were in August'".
"So I arrive at the’date with the World Cup very serene and calm. It will be repetitive but I really believe that everything that comes è something gained: last year confined at home è it was very hard, I did not walk for two months and I thought it was all over" concluded Goggia.
Brignone continues to lead the overall standings with 799 points, +70 over Lara Gut; third è Camille Rast with 562 tailed by Sofia Goggia (551); Brignone (310) and Goggia (246) chase Gut (385) in the specialty ranking.
