Anna Kalinskaya is smiling again

WTA Singapore: Anna Kalinskaya-Caroline Dolehide 6-4 4-6 6-2
After withdrawing from the Australian Open, Anna Kalinskaya regained her smile and victory in Singapore, where in the first round she bent American Caroline Dolehide in three sets with a score of 6-4 4-6 6-2, after more than two and a half hours of play.
In the first set, è the Moscow native placed the break in the fifth game. The American rival, however, did not give up and immediately equalized again in the eighth game. At that point, forò, è once again the 1998 class to be more incisive, winning two consecutive games and winning the first partial on 6-4.
In the second set, Kalinskaya once again got off to a rocket start, winning four of the first six games. The number one seed, however, suddenly dropped in intensity and Dolehide took immediate advantage to overturn the score and make the second partial 6-4 her own.
In the third and decisive set, the Moscow native managed to remain mentally solid and impose her own rhythm on her opponent from the start, flying away in the score at 5-1. At that point, è only a formalityà for her to close the games on 6-2.
