Priftis presents Pallacanestro Reggiana- Laguna Tenerife

After the LBA away win against Bertram Derthona, Pallacanestro Reggiana è ready to dive back into the Champions League, where they begin the round of 16 to which they è qualified by overcoming Bonn 2-0 in the competition play-in. The Red and White will face Laguna Tenerife, already four times in its history able to reach the Final Four of the event, winning it twice. Game two at 9 p.m. at the Pabellon Santiago Martin.

Coach Dimitris Priftis spoke this way in a press conference on the eve of the match with the Spaniards: "This è the first game of the third round of this competition, after the first round and then the playoffs. We are placed in a really interesting and difficult group. We face a team with great tradition and experience in BCL, with a roster of quality and depth, which also has good team chemistry due to the fact that they have been playing together for a long time, with the same coach". 

"They have a very high level of execution in every offensive aspect, with great playmakers and very good shooters on the offloads,” added the Greek coach. We have to be focused and also able to adapt to their tactical intelligence, because they play very smart".

" We will have to be ready, at certain times of the game, to control the pace. It will be very important not to lose balls that can give them easy points on the counterattack. And, for sure, it will beà crucial for both teams to shoot percentage from outside" concluded Priftis.
