Simone Inzaghi does not want to discount Monaco

Simone Inzaghi presented Inter-Monaco in a press conference. The Nerazzurri just need a draw to qualify directly for the Champions League round of 16: "We can’t make any calculations, we know that we are one last step away after a very good run and we will want to do it tomorrow night. Monaco has very good offensive players, plays offensive soccer, è well organized, with a coach I have already met with Lazio against Eintracht. We have great respect for Monaco, but we want to play a great game".

On the possible lineup: "I still have to decide, we finished half an hour ago the training and I still have to watch it again. Something will change, as I have always done: we will see tomorrow, I have several doubts and I have some players right now out. Definitely Acerbi, Calhanoglu and Correa will not be there. Taremi had a small problem in Lecce, in these two days he è trained in the gym and we hope to recover him for tomorrow".

"Right now the available strikers I have can play one with the other, it è been seen over the course of the year – added the Nerazzurri coach. They are complementary and can all play, as for tomorrow night I will still have to make choices. Taremi yesterday and today has not trained, Arnautovic has trained very well, Lautaro and Thuram have shown that they have recovered. Tomorrow I will choose based on Monaco, not on Sunday’s game, in fact maybe thinking about how much the players spent in previous games".

"I think Inter has done these seven games in the Champions League with great concentration. We scored less, but we also took goals on particular actions. We know the concentration we have had, I think the team has always remained focused as these matches require" concluded Inzaghi.
