Razgatlioglu, Bassani, Bulega and Gardner included in just 99 thousandths; six Houses in top seven places. Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) signs the best time on the first day of testing for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, with the top four included in 99 thousandths. Not even the injury to the’index finger on his right hand limits the Turk.

First time for Toprak riding the new M 1000 RR: the Turk did not take part in last week’s test in Jerez but today at 12:36 local time he took the lead on his second lap. 55 laps for him at the end of the day with a 1’40.650 as best time, with three tenths on Axel Bassani. Toprak lapped with two pairs of special gloves, a pair with enlarged space in the area of the right index finger and a pair with index and middle finger joined. Eighth time for boxmate Michael van der Mark in 1’41.732.

Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) closes today with 60 laps and the third time in 1’40.748. Eighth chrono for Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team) in 1’41.369: the Terni native completed 45 laps. Tenth place for Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) with a 1’41.580. 12th place for Alvaro Bautista who tried for the first time a new exhaust brought by Ducati and lapped with two bikes with different set-ups. His best timeè was a 1’42.141. 37 laps and 16° place for Scott Redding in 1’42.260, in action with two bikes. 55 laps for’rookie Ryan Vickers, 58 for Yari Montella. The two made a 1’42.584 and a 1’42.964, respectively.

Bimota continues to shine this preseason with its Alex Lowes, Axel Bassani and test rider Xavi Fores. Axel Bassani signed a 1’41.679 and completed 62 laps while Alex Lowes ended today with 58 laps and a 1’41.819.

Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha) came out of the pits around 15:15. 32 laps and fifth place for him with a 1’41.100 while Andrea Locatelli è 15° in 1’42.245, with 38 laps ridden on two bikes. Remy Gardner ;(GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) has the fourth fastest time with a 1’40.749 and 49 laps. Dominique Aegerter  has a 1’42.634 as his best time: the Swiss è crashed during the 30th° of his 38 laps. Only 28 laps for rookie Bahattin Sofuoglu who made a 1’43.222.

Xavi Vierge completed 58 laps and è seventh thanks to a 1’41.295. Also returning to the track in Portimao for Iker Lecuona, who injured his ribs in recent weeks. Half day of work for the Spaniard, with 25 laps to his credit and 28° time in 1’44.841. 53 laps for Tarran Mackenzie (PETRONAS MIE Honda Racing Team), with a 1’43.817.

Lucas Mahias in 1’44.223 è was the best among the World Supersport riders. Philipp Oettl achieved a 1’44.747, Marcel Schroetter printed a 1’44.769.
