Stuttgart-Paris Saint Germain, the probable formations

Stuttgart hosts Paris Saint Germain on the final day of the Champions League single group stage. Kickoff at 9 p.m. at the MHPArena. The Parisians, fresh off a historic 4-2 comeback against Manchester City, occupy 22nd place in the standings with 10 points, the same as the Germans, who follow two places behind because of goal difference. Whoever wins will detach a direct pass for the playoffs, but even the loser could still hope. A draw, however, could keep both in the top 24.

Hoeness is banking on a compact team, with Nübel in goal, solid defense with the Karazor-Stiller duo in midfield. In attack, Leweling, Millot and Fuhrich will act behind Undav, the only offensive reference.

Luis Enrique relies on Donnarumma in goal, defense headed by Marquinhos, technical midfield with Zaire-Emery, Vitinha and Neves. In attack, the speed of Dembélé, Doué and Barcola will be the key weapon.

Probable lineups

Stuttgart (4-2-3-1): Nubel; Bagnoman, Al-Dakhil, Chabot, Mittlestadt; Karazor, Stiller; Leweling, Millot, Fuhrich; Undav. All.: Hoeness.

Paris Saint Germain (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Hernandez; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Neves; Dembelé, Doué, Barcola. All. Luis Enrique.
