Nicola Zalewski goes to Inter: goodbye Roma, after 14 years

An official jersey change, complete with a dedication to one’s now former team.
Calciomercato Inter: Nicola Zalewski è officially a Nerazzurri player. The Polish midfielder, who despite his young age (è born in 2002) wore the Roma jersey for a good 14 years doing the entire trafila in the Giallorossi youth ranks, now moves to the Milanese capital on loan.
"FC Internazionale Milano announces on its official channels that it has finalized with AS Roma the transfer of Nicola Zalewski. The Polish midfielder born in 2002 moves to Inter on a temporary basis with the right of redemption", the Nerazzurri club announced on its official website.
The Capitolini also confirmed the details of the deal: "AS Roma announces that it has reached an agreement with Inter for the temporary transfer of Nicola Zalewski. The deal is concluded on a loan with right of redemption basis. Raised in the youth sector in Trigoria, the outfielder has collected 123 appearances and 2 goals in the Giallorossi".
"Hello Roma! Since the first time I put your jersey on it has been 14 years, a lifetime. However it ends… THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING", are instead the words with which Zalewski closed on Instagram such a long and significant chapter of his career and, more generally, of his life.
