Carlos Sainz and the choice of Williams: “Very good project”

A choice toward which trust è high.
Carlos Sainz left Ferrari to give up his seat to Lewis Hamilton, and now he is preparing to start again at Williams. The transition for him è from the second-ranked team in the 2024 constructors’ championship to a noble decadent, which did not è go beyond ninth place. But the Spaniard is confident about his chances for a new season.
"I studied for a long time to determine which team in 2025 would be faster. And in the end I based myself on the project and the people, when I started talking more frequently with James Vowles I realized that the project they were working on was very good", Sainz explained to official Williams channels.
"There is good work here, the project è good, the support is there è and the people within the team are very well prepared. That è was the combination that led me to decide to come to Williams,” Sainz continued. “I decided to trust my instincts, the same ones that made me say that there were people in McLaren who were so good that they could win the championship" sooner or later.
The reference is not è coincidental, since statistics certify that all the teams in his past have gone through a jump in the standings from Sainz's arrival to his farewell. È happened to Toro Rosso (from seventh to sixth), Renault (from eighth to fourth), McLaren (from sixth to third) and Ferrari itself (from sixth to second). Now the Spaniard will try again in Williams.
