On the heels of her silver medal in SuperG, Federica Brignone finished in fourth place in the third and final time trial of the downhill at the World Championships in Saalbach, 0"46 from Ledecka, followed by Slovenian Ilka Stuhec (+0"50) and U.S. Breezy Johnson (+0"68).

"I’m happy with my test because I had a couple of things to try and fix, I put some pieces in place, I tried some lines,” said the Valle d’Aosta woman in the heat. “I felt good and now let’s see what happens tomorrow in the race".

So è returned on Thursday’s second place: "In our sport it’s not è so è taken for granted to get on the podium at a World Championship: è it’s true that if I look ahead the victory yesterday è escaped by a tenth, but behind me with two tenths moreù I would have been left without a medal".

"In life I have learned to see the glass half full, and this has allowed me to be here today and to live it up" commented Brignone.
