Lindsey Vonn gives appointment to Jannik Sinner

Lindsey Vonn dà appointment to Jannik Sinner
During an interview given to the microphones of "La Repubblica", American skier Lindsey Vonn, among other topics, wanted to send a message to her great friend Jannik Sinner, who after his triumph at the Australian Open has decided to take a break to recover his energy ahead of his return to the field in Doha next February 17.
"I am always in touch with Jannik, we are good friends. In the past few days he was in Plan de Corones and I è regret not being able to meet him. Sooner or later però we will come back to ski together. He now has much to do and many more trophies to win. We will meet again one day, I am sure, but first we both have work to do" began the American skier.
"If sheò be part of the team that will participate in the Olympics in Milan-Cortina, obviously there will be expectations. Right now, forò I donò t feel I have any and honestly I donò t even know where I would place myself. Here in Saalbach I would like to be on the podium, of course, but I could also finish 10th and I would be fine with that. My goal has è never been to be competitive this year, although I feel good and I am much more ahead than I ever expected" added Lindsey Vonn.
The World Cup adventure in Saalbach, however, did not è begin in the best of ways for the American, who è was forced to retire in the SuperG after violently slamming her right arm against a door. Vonn, therefore, will try to redeem herself in the downhill scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8. The American, in addition, will haveà a chance to better evaluate her physical condition already in today’s downhill practice session.
