Aprilia centaur Jorge Martin è underwent surgery in Barcelona after a bad accident during MotoGP testing in Sepang: the Spaniard è fractured his right hand and left foot when è was thrown from his bike.

"Jorge Martin's right hand operation has been successfully completed. The medical team at the Quirón Dexeus Clinic in Barcelona, led by Dr. Xavier Mir, confirmed the positive outcome of the surgery. The Spanish rider, following a bad high-side on the first day of testing in Sepang, had suffered a fracture of the head of the 5° metacarpal of the right hand and a fracture of the 3°, 4° and 5° metatarsal of the left foot".
"After a night at’Aurelius Hospital in Nilai, Jorge Martín returned to Europe to undergo surgery on Friday morning at the Quirón Dexeus Clinic. He did not è need surgery for the fractures in his left foot, recovery time will be evaluated in the coming days".
