During an interview given to the microphones of "France Football", Tijjani Reijnders, among the various topics discussed, dwelt on the extraordinary season he is experiencing and his future at AC Milan

"My biggest goal è is to win as many trophies as possible. Becauseé if I play soccer è to write my name in the history books. I hope this is possible at AC Milan, with whom I will soon extend my relationship. To be among the candidates for the Ballon d'Or would be a dream. Everything will depend on my performance and the titles I win. If I continue to strive to be the best player I can be in every game, work hard for the team and be decisive, it will be easy for me to be nominated" began the Dutch midfielder.

"I had a kind of breakthrough. Before I was in too much of a hurry, while now I can be much more decisive. I did a lot of shooting exercises and with my father and brother we watched my matches again to analyze my behavior in front of the goal" added the 1998 class.

"Today I am much more present on the field and, above all, I have acquired more composure. When I get into the offensive zone, I know what to do. I scored my first two goals, I gained confidence and everything è changed. My statistics have put me in the spotlight, but this does not create any extra pressure for me, because it simply means that I am playing well. Every time I take the field, I smile becauseé I am happy to play and I have never had a serious injury" concluded Tijjani Reijnders.

The former Az Alkmaar player has a contract with AC Milan until June 30, 2028. However, the parties have reportedly already reached an agreement in principle to extend him until 2029 with an adjustment in his salary from the current 1.7 million euros net per season to nearly 4 million, including bonuses.
