Lorenzo Musetti impressed by a Jannik Sinner detail

After an excellent run at the Australian Open, Lorenzo Musetti è ready to return to the court in Buenos Aires on clay. Speaking at a press conference, the Italian tennis player, among other topics, è returned to the extraordinary success achieved by Italian tennis and Jannik Sinner in particular in the season that has just ended.

"I think we have a team with a very deep base, where there'è a lot of choice. Flavio Cobolli last season è was the revelation tennis player of the whole circuit and in the last week we saw Mattia Bellucci reach the semifinals for the first time in Rotterdam. We have won the Davis Cup twice in a row, clearly with Jannik making a very important contribution" began the Italian tennis player.

"The FITP has played a key role in the growth of Italian tennis by providing resources to support private clubs, individual coaches and players. I can testify how this, for me, has been fundamental in my technical development. In addition, the'organization of so many tournaments in Italy and the chance to gain experience I think are other fundamental factors" continued the Carrara native.

"With Sinner we shared the week in Malaga. He had very little time to adapt to the different conditions on the courts, because heé had won the ATP Finals a few days before. What impresses and amazes me most about him è his ability to adapt to changes both from a tennis point of view and from a stress point of view. We all know the affair with him. For other players it would be very difficult to play, but it doesn’t seem to touch him. He has an inhuman mentality and I have great admiration for that" added the class of 2002.

"Two years ago it didn’t è go well here and so I decided to return to Argentina to try to redeem myself on the surface where I can express my tennis better" concluded Lorenzo Musetti.
