Gent-Betis Sevilla, the probable formations

On Thursday, Feb. 13, Gent and Betis Sevilla will compete for the first leg of the Conference League playoffs. Kickoff at 9 p.m. at the Planet Group Arena. Both teams are not having a bright period: the Belgians, although unbeaten for five matches, have won only once, while the Spaniards are coming off a painful defeat to Celta Vigo.

Gent will take the field with a 3-5-2. The defense will be formed by Mitrovic, Gambor and Torunarigha to protect Roef in goal. In attack, Milicevic will deploy Vanzeir, paired with Gudjohnsen, favored over Sonko. The team will not have the likes of Fadiga, Hjulsager, Dean and Vandenberghe available.

Betis will play with a 4-2-3-1. Adrian will be the goalkeeper, with Ortiz, Llorente, Natan and Rodriguez forming the defense. In midfield, Cardoso and Altimira will act as midfielders. The offensive trident, made up of Antony, Isco and Ezzalzouli, will supportà Bakambu, the only forward. Carvalho and the disqualified Ruibal will not be available.
