The Grolsch Veste Stadium in Enschede will be the stage for the Europa League round of 16 playoff first leg between Twente and Bodo Glimt, set for 9 p.m. The hosts gained access to this stage thanks to a 1-0 victory in the last match of the group stage against Besiktas, finishing 23rd in the standings. The Norwegians, on the other hand, came close to qualifying directly for the round of 16, finishing the first phase of the tournament in ninth place.

 Coach Oosting has recovered several injuries and will be able to count on almost the entire squad, with the exception of Taha Younes and Lammers. The form will be a 4-2-1-3 with Van Rooij, Bruns, Lagerbielke and Hilgers in defense, Vlap and Sadilek in the midfield, Steijn a trequartista and the offensive trident formed by Rots, Ltaief and van Wolfswinkel.

Bodo Glimt comes from a’friendly lost 5-3 to Aalborg, while the Norwegian league will restart in the spring. With the full squad well rested thanks to the break, the coach will field the best eleven available. Among the protagonists will be an old acquaintance of Serie A: former Milan player Jens Petter Hauge.
