Buenos Aires: Lorenzo Musetti overwhelms Corentin Moutet and hits quarterfinals

ATP Buenos Aires: Lorenzo Musetti-Corentin Moutet 6-2 6-3

Lorenzo Musetti's adventure in Buenos Aires continues. On the South American clay, in fact, the Italian tennis player è imposed himself with a peremptory 6-2 6-3 over Frenchman Corentin Moutet, centering the access to the quarterfinals.

In the second set, Moutet managed to be more aggressive from the opening bars finding the first opportunities to break serve, but Musetti did not tremble and cancelled them with lucidity. The danger having passed, the number three in the seeding goes on the counterattack by placing the decisive stretch in the sixth game, leading to the 6-3 final.

In the quarterfinals, Lorenzo Musetti will face Spaniard Pedro Martinez, who defeated host Diego Schwartzman.
