Arrigo Sacchi sheds light on his return to the bench

Sacchi’s words
Arrigo Sacchi at 78 years old (and 24 since the last time) seemed ready to get back on the bench: "I am thinking of going back to coaching, in Italy or abroad" his words to the Adnkronos, immediately però rectified to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Are you kidding? To soccer I have given my whole life, but now, at seventy-eight years old, how can I think of returning to the bench? I’m not crazy".
"È the result of a misunderstanding,” he added, “I simply sent a message to Galliani in which I told him that if he needed help for Monza, I would be available. But certainly not to be a coach. I am grateful to Galliani, as well as to President Berlusconi, for everything they have done for me".
"I have many contacts with coaches and managers, I still live soccer, I observe it, I study it and I write about it for the Gazzetta. Just think that I often get phone calls from Brazil, Argentina or Spain where they ask me for comments on this or that game, judgments on this or that player. I am 'sick' of soccer, you know: I have given all of myself to this sport and, if I could, I would do anything to improve it. However, I'll tell you clearly, I really have no intention of sitting on the bench again. The last time è was at Parma in 2001, and then I said enough".
