Champions League: Bayern is saved in the 94th minute, show tie between Benfica and Monaco

Champions League: Bayern Munich and Benfica in the round of 16
After Feyenoord and Club Brugge, executioners of AC Milan and Atalanta respectively, Bayern Munich and Benfica also qualified for the Champions League round of 16. The Bavarians, on the strength of their 2-1 win in Glasgow, saved themselves in extremis with Celtic, drawing in 94' (1-1), while the Portuguese remounted Munich twice (3-3), giving themselves qualification thanks to a narrow victory in the first leg match.
At Munich's Allianz Arena, it all happened in the second half: at 63' Kuhn took advantage of a Bayern Munich defensive folly and beat Neuer, putting Celtic ahead; in the final, however, as time almost expired, the Bavarians found the equalizer with Davies, who from two steps inflated the net after Schmeichel’s miracle on Goretzka’s header.
At the Da Luz in Lisbon match full of excitement and twists and turns. At 22' Benfica took the lead with Akturkoglu but Monaco's reaction was immediate with Minamino (32') and Ben Seghir (51') turning the result around. At 76' però the hosts found the 2-2 with Pavlidis on a penalty kick. In the final, the Monegasques went back ahead with newcomer Ilenikhena (81') but three minutes later Kokcu scored the final 3-3.
Bayern Munich and Benfica thus advance to the round of 16: the Bavarians will face one between Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen, while the Lusitanians will face one between Liverpool and Barcelona. The draw for the Champions League round of 16 finals will be held on Friday, Feb. 21 at 12 p.m. in Nyon.
