Danilo Petrucci compares Nicolo Bulega to Marc Marquez

The words of Danilo Petrucci
The last day of official Superbike testing at Phillip Island ended in the sign of Nicolò Bulega. The Ducati team centaur, in fact, recorded a time of 1:28.680, dealing a gap of almost half a second to Andrea Iannone and Danilo Petrucci. Just the latter, at the end of the session, wanted to analyze his performance in these last days of testing and wanted to unbalance himself in view of the first race of the season in Australia.
"I was very worried before these two days, but now I am happy. In Jerez and Portimao we tested very little, as I was physically and mentally exhausted from the exertions of the Dakar. Here in Phillip Island, however, I arrived there in better condition and from the first lap I was very fast. I think that several riders will be able to fight for the podium, although Bulega has shown from the start that he has an extra gear " began the Ducati centaur as reported on "GPone"
"I expect several battles between myself, Iannone, Bautista, Razgatioglu, the two Bimotas and Locatelli. Between doing tenth and third will be a matter of little. I think we will all be very close, so it will be; essential not to lose too much time in overtaking. Personally I would have preferred to have a solo race, but I think only Bulega, a bit like Marquez in MotoGp, has shown that he has the pace to run away" added the blue number 9.
"I arrive at the first race of the season with the knowledge that I am okay. Already; in the day yesterday I had told the guys in the team that we could close and go eat at home. We kept the 2024 set-up and the bike immediately worked. The only thing I fear è the wind that here Phillip Island è always an unknown, but in these last tests I had fun and I felt very good on the bike" concluded Danilo Petrucci.
