The words of Federica Brignone

It's a Federica Brignone in seventh heaven the one who spoke to the channels of the "FISI" after her triumph in the second giant in Sestriere twenty-four hours after her affirmation in the first race between the wide gates on the Giovanni Agnelli slope.

"I cared so much about these two races, è a dream to win twice in Italy within a few days. In the second heat I put my skiing on track without risking more than I had to. There were no easy conditions, the visibility for the last ones was not optimal. After a solid first run, I went on the attack, tried to take all the turns as best I could by pushing from start to finish. I felt like I lost speed down low and then I pushed hard. Today I felt I had more energy and I am delighted with the result" began the blue skier.

"It's an incredible season so far, but there are still so many stages. Last year the month of January ruined my path, so I want to isolate myself and think only about my races and my skiing. I am sorry I lost points in three giants, but I always went on the attack by giving everything on the slope. Budgets, forò, I prefer to make them at the end of the season, so that I have more information to understand where I can improve" continued the Valle d’Aosta woman.

"I am having a great time becauseé I feel like relaxed and I stay focused on my things. This allows me to recover a lot between races and turn the page quickly. I feel so many people close to me both in Italy and abroad. In Sestriere I heard the roar all along the track after I left the gate. The cheering I feel, maybe it doesn&#39t help, but it gives a good feeling" added the 34-year-old skier.

"In La Thuile I will tryò to manage this expectation: I have never won at home, I like the slope very much and I will tryò to give my best. Now comes Kvitfjell, in Norway: è a slope where you have to read the terrain, I hope it is warm to find a snow that I like, but I have grown a lot in downhill, I have been working on it and I will tryò to do well" concluded Federica Brignone.
