Kyle Walker è injured against Feyenoord

It promises to be a rather difficult period for Sergio Conceicao, from the point of view of the men available for the end of the season: the injury suffered in the return leg of the Champions League playoff against Feyenoord by one of the top January signings, Kyle Walker, seems in fact to be more serious than expected and could lead to a medium-long stop.

The Englishman's physical problem is muscular in nature and must be evaluated daily. For sure, Walker will not be present on Saturday in Turin against the granata and will be replaced by Alex Jimenez: a solution that could reoccur in the next two games, Thursday against Bologna (recovery of the ninth day) and Sunday against Lazio at San Siro. And it is not è certain that, in the next match against Lecce on March 8, Walker could be 100 percent.

Despite the physical problem, Walker gritted his teeth throughout the match against Feyenoord, which ended in a 1-1 draw that, after the 1-0 white-and-white victory in the first leg, qualified the Eredivisie side in the round of 16, which will face Inter Milan in the next round of the Champions League, among others. Now, forò, the English è forced to  stop in order not to worsen the situation.

Walker has played on the right flank all six games since his arrival at AC Milan, always for 90 minutes except for the home match against Hellas Verona, in which he left the field just for Jimenez after halftime. His rossonero debut was last Feb. 2, in the derby against Inter, which ended 1-1.
