Aston Villa-Chelsea, the probable formations

Saturday’s schedule of matches in the Premier League will close with the match scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Italian time between Aston Villa and Chelsea. An important challenge for the ranking of both teams, looking for useful points to chase a place in Europe regardless of how their respective adventures in the Champions and Conference League will end.

The Villans are coming off two consecutive home draws, 1-1 against Ipswich and 2-2 against Liverpool. The injury list, which has long included Barkley, Amadou Onana and Pau Torres, has been enriched by the presence of Disasi and Boubacar Kamara, who will therefore not be available to coach Unai Emery.

There are as many as seven players, on the other hand, on whom Enzo Maresca, the Blues’ Italian coach, will not be able to rely on due to injury: they are the long-term injured Badiashile, Wesley Fofana, Kellyman and Lavia, to whom Marc Guiu, Nicolas Jackson and Madueke have been added to the list of knocked-out players.

Probable lineups

Aston Villa (4-4-1-1): Emiliano Martinez; Andres Garcia, Konsa, Mings, Digne; Rogers, McGinn, Tielemans, Rashford; Asensio; Watkins. All. Emery.

Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Jorgensen; Reece James, Adarabioyo, Colwill, Cucurella; Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez; Pedro Neto, Palmer, Sancho; Nkunku. All. Maresca.
