Everton-Manchester United, the probable formations

This afternoon, at 1:30 p.m., Amorim’s Red Devils will take the field at Liverpool’s Goodison Park to face David Moyes’ Toffees in the 26th round of the Premier League. The hosts are going through an excellent moment of form: they have not lost in the league for five days and, thanks to their latest successes, they have moved away from the hot spots in the standings. In contrast, Manchester United are experiencing a difficult period: they are currently in 15th place with 29 points and are struggling to find continuity and positive results.

For Everton, Pickford will be in goal, while Branthwaite and Tarkowski will form the central defensive pair. In midfield, Garner and Gueye are confirmed, while in attack, the only forward will be former Udinese player Beto, supported on the three-quarter by Alcaraz.

In the Red Devils, former Inter Milan man Onana will play between the posts, with Harry Maguire leading the defense. In the midfield, captain Bruno Fernandes will be joined by Ugarte. On the three-quarter will act Zirkzee and the Argentine Garnacho, while the offensive reference will be Højlund.

Everton (4-2-3-1): Pickford; O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Lindstrom, Alacaraz, Harrison; Beto. All: Moyes.

Manchester United (3-4-2-1): Onana; Maguire, Mazraoui, de Ligt; Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Ugarte, Dorgu; Garnacho, Zirkzee; Hojlund. All: Amorim.
