B teams, Inter also takes the field: home match venue also chosen

Inter ready to follow the example of Juventus, Atalanta and Milan
Italian soccer is preparing to welcome the fourth B team that will field a club from the top league: after Juventus, Atalanta and Milan, Inter has also prepared the ground to play in the Serie C tournament with a team made up of Under 23s (and any out-of-teens provided for by the regulations). Confirming this è was Beppe Marotta, Nerazzurri CEO.
During a press conference held on Monday on the sidelines of the Nerazzurri shareholders’ meeting, Marotta removed all doubts on the issue: "I can say it officially, for the first time: we are preparing everything necessary to set up an Under 23 team, as for the name we will think about it later".
The Nerazzurri executive then added other details, on all the season in which the club intends to start the project and the field where the home matches will be played. "Our intention è to submit the application to the Federation for the 2025-2026 season, in principle we will play in Monza. We are working with Ausilio, Baccin and Zanetti, for now I cannot say more".
At the moment there are three active second teams in the league: Juventus Next Gen, which took its current name in 2022 but has been active since the 2018-2019 season, with a Coppa Italia in Serie C under its belt (2019-2020); Atalanta U23, active since 2023-2024; and Milan Futuro, in its first year of activity.
