"L'ageè è just a number, the important thing, touching iron, è trying to stay healthy at the physical level. You have to stay positive, have the desire and the fire inside to still be able to prove that you want to play and win. I have not thought about the future yet, but I will make a decision only at the end of the season. Obviously when I retire; I will miss basketball, so I will make peace with it and try to keep myself busy with other things maybe outside of basketball. I want to leave this sport in my own way, that is, trying to finish while I am still an important player" began the Vu Nere basketball player.
"For me Manu will always remain an idol. He gave me a lot of help at the beginning of my NBA experience especially in getting me adjusted to the San Antonio system. I will never forget the title I won with the Spurs and the triumph in the three-point contest. It was something resounding, I had not gotten off to a good start, then I recovered by being able to beat great champions who are still in the NBA" added the'former Philadelphia 76ers.
"I returned to Italy to Virtus in December 2020 and in 2021 we won the scudetto against Milan in an unexpected way. Last year no one believed we could make such a run in the Euroleague until January/February. Of course, things can't always go right. There are injuries, but the important thing is to try to stick together and together. It's not an easy season for us, but the goal remains to try to win the Scudetto. We have to try to improve daily and see where we can get in the post-season" concluded Marco Belinelli.
