Federica Brignone è confirmed herself in the top 10 again in the second downhill run in Kvitfjell. The skier from Valle d’Aosta, in fact, finished in seventh place, 55 hundredths behind American Breezy Johnson and just 5 behind Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami, her direct competitor in the overall World Cup standings. Speaking to the official channels of the "FISI", the Italian analyzed her performance and was unbalanced ahead of the race weekend.

"After Sestriere I took an extra day of rest that helped me. now I am putting everything back together. The slope è fun, but with many sliding sections" debuted the blue skier.

"Of course I am here to do my best, I missed in both runs the same pass and I hope I will do better in the race. I really like the snow: two runs on this slope will be very tough for me, but I will try to do my best and ski as I can" added Federica Brignone.

The program in Kvitfjell includes two downhill runs, Friday and Saturday, starting at 10:30 a.m., while on Sunday, also at 10:30 a.m., the super-G kicks off. This is a triptych of paramount importance in view of the World Cup and specialty cupsà.
