Lewis Hamilton è pleased with how the tests in Bahrain are going: "They have been good days. The weather hindered us today and we couldn’t do as many laps as we wanted, but we did almost everything. We are working on exploring and I am trying to settle in. I’ve only been here a month and you can only do so much. And the car è went very well on the track".
"È it is too early to say that the SF-25 is a car closer to my preferences, but I am really enjoying the car. We are making a connection. Yesterday the day è was decent, but we carried out our program. We don’t change the setup, but we are just following procedures. I really enjoy driving this car at the moment. There are different things compared to the Mercedes, different names and geometries. I study day and night to understand what they call the components. I worked 12 years in the same garage and knew everything. Now, however, things are different and è something I really enjoy”.
"These days are for exploring the potential of the car. Right now I think there is still room for exploration. We are getting there step by step. Every adjustment è is different from the Mercedes. I have to learn again a working method and how this car has to be driven, because it has to be driven differently. So far I feel the car responds to my stresses. Today è it was important to make the steps forward in terms of set-up. Hard to talk about the comparison with the others, we will understand in 2 weeks and maybe tomorrow we will understand something more;. But I think we will all be moreù close. Then I see Williams moreù fast and I think that is a very good thing".
"I take one day at a time. We are focused on doing our job, not looking at the rest. We are trying to learn the car, the processes, the control systems. I am in the process of learning, the suspension, the adjustments and the technologies. My engineer and I are trying to figure out how best to communicate. Every time I go back to the pits we adjust slowly. We are following a plan, and we can’t be more forward given the short time we have had. Several great drivers started before me like Vettel and Alonso. We have just started but it is going great".
