Ferrari starts WEC 2025 with a historic hat trick in Qatar
The first act of the Fia World Endurance Championship 2025 è destined to enter the history of motorsport and the memories of fans thanks to the hat trick signed by Ferrari on the Lusail track, home of the 1812 KM Qatar race.
Victory è was achieved by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen in the number 50 499P that passed under the checkered flag ahead of the number 83 car of the AF Corse team driven by Yifei Ye, Robert Kubica and Phil Hanson; third the other crew of the official Ferrari – AF Corse team formed by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi.
The house of Maranello built the perfect weekend not only because of the extraordinary goal achieved in the race, but also thanks to the best lap time over the 10-hour competition – signed by Pier Guidi – and the pole position of Giovinazzi.
For the Prancing Horse it was, therefore, the best possible debut in the third season that sees the Ferrari 499Ps engaged in the top class of endurance.
