Semaj Christon moves to Cremona
Very few hours after the official termination of the contract that bound him to Estra Pistoia, Semaj Christon has found the agreement with Vanoli Cremona and therefore will continue his adventure in Italy. The news è was made known by Legabasket during the day limit for internal Serie A transfers.
Estra Pistoia had announced in the previous hours the consensual termination of the agreement: "A.S. Estra Pistoia Basket 2000 announces that it has reached an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract with point guard Semaj Christon – reads the note of the white-and-red club. The club thanks Semaj for the commitment and professionalism he has shown in recent months and wishes him the best of luck in the continuation of his career".
Born in 1992, Christon had taken his first steps in the Italian league in Pesaro, in the 2015-2016 season, before finding stabilityà in Bel Paese basketball from 2022 onwards, with experiences in Tortona, Brescia and Pistoia. In Cremona he finds a team that, just like Pistoia, is fighting for permanence in the top division.
In addition to his experiences in Italy, Christon played for Xavier University at the NCAA level (his performance led to his selection in the 2014 NBA Draft by Miami with the 55th call-up), before a long wanderlust that led him to wear the undershirts of Oklahoma City Blue, Pesaro, Oklahoma City Thunder, Guangzhou Loong Lions, Santeros de Aguada, Hapoel Beer Sheva, Limoges, Baskonia, Tofas Bursa, Ulma, Tortona, Brescia and Pistoia.
