First LA derby is winning for Luka Doncic, bitter comeback for Simone Fontecchio

As many as ten contests were played on NBA night. On his 26th birthday, Luka Doncic gives himself the first win of his career in the Los Angeles derby. The Slovenian’s 31 points combined with 28 from the usual LeBron James allowed the Lakers to fold the Clippers and get their fifth consecutive success.

The super challenge in the East between Boston and Cleveland ends with a comeback success for the Cavaliers, who after finishing 22 points down manage to overturn the result dragged by a super Donovan Mitchell author of 41 points. Not enough in the Celtics home the monstrous performances of Jayson Tatum (46 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists) and Jaylen Brown (37 points).

Detroit’s streak of consecutive wins stops at eight, which canà nothing against Denver. The Nuggets, in fact, manage to put the arrow right from the opening lines and manage the lead until the final buzzer thanks to Nikola Jokic’s usual triple-double (23 points, 17 rebounds and 15 assists) and Jamal Murray’s 31 points. Bitter comeback, then, for Simone Fontecchio, who coming off the bench put up 12 in 12 minutes. 

They continue to dominate, finally, the Oklahoma City Thunder, who also easily pass in Atlanta dragged by the usual Shai Gilgeous-Alexander author of 31 points.
