The 23-year-old Italian knocked out by Senna Agius when he was second

The Thai GP, the first round of the Moto2 World Championship, saw the success of Manuel Gonzalez. The Team Intact GP rider, after taking pole position, also è took home the first GP of the season, confirming that he has what it takes for a season as a genuine protagonist.

Black luck for Celestino Vietti. The 23-year-old Italian driver, after battling, in the early laps, just with Manuel Gonzalez, è was knocked out with 10 laps to go, when he was already looking forward to an excellent second place.

On the podium, along with the winner Manuel Gonzalez, were Aron Canet of the Fantic Racing team) and Senna Agius himself. The pilot of Intact GP è managed to get the better of a beautiful challenge with Diogo Moreira, pilot of the Italtrans Racing Team.

In the post-race, Senna agius è apologized for what happened with Celestino Vietti: "I noticed that he was in trouble; I tried to pass him but I was too optimistic. I am sorry for what è happened and I apologize", his words reported by SKY Sport. Of note is the 13° final place of Tony Arbolino who enters soì in the points zone in the first GP of a season that promises to be decidedly interesting.
