Darren Cahill, at the Tennis Insider Club podcast, highlighted the qualities of Jannik Sinner, a young man with an uncommon maturity, especially in relation to his young age: "Well sì è è a man well beyond his age, mature, although in reality he is still a kid"
On the Clostebol affair, the coach’s thoughts è clear: "There are players who find their confidence on the tennis court. There are some players who bring problems on the court and others who leave them out. He leaves them out, and so è he was extraordinary".
Darren Cahill himself revealed how impressed he was with Jannik Sinner the first time he saw him in action: "I commented on Jannik four or five years ago for ESPN and said 'Wow, this player è so good' he is. The sound the ball has when he hits it, the way he moves. I knew he would become a great player and he had a great coach, like Riccardo Piatti. Our relationship è started by just doing three or four weeks on the grass together, a trial, to see how things were". Judging by the results we got together, the relationship è went pretty well.
