Great tennis stars in Monza, fabulous prize money

The official entry list will be unveiled on March 17

This is it, great tennis è ready to be big in Monza. From April 6 to April 13, at Villa Reale Tennis, the first edition of the’Atkinsons Monza Open 25, new international tournament of category 100 of the’ATP Challenger Tour.

An event of a certain importance, as evidenced by the high prize pool of as much as 143,000 euros. To know the official entry list, we will have to wait until next March 17, but, for sure, big names will be involved for a highly anticipated event.

"The’approach to the tournament continues apace and with great enthusiasm on the part of all bodies involved. We do not yet know the participants, but we expect an excellent level, with players accustomed to the big stages. In Monza they will find an event with attention to detail and with an absolute rarity for the Challenger circuit, namely the electronic call” system, the words of Giorgio Tarantola, tournament director. 

In fact, on either side of the three courts, there will be no line judges but the calls will be made in a computerized manner, as is also the case at the Internazionali di Roma and Nitto ATP Finals. Free admission to the tournament is confirmed until April 11 (inclusive). Ticket sales will take place only to attend the semifinals and the finals.
