Miami Masters 1000, surprise wild card for an Italian national

Masters 1000 Miami: wild card to Federico Cinà
A nice surprise for Italian tennis comes from Miami. In fact, the Miami Open, the second Masters 1000 of the season after the one in Indian Wells, has offered a wild card to the 2006 class Federico Cinà, former world number 4 junior and currently number 557 in the ATP ranking.
This is a great opportunity for the 17-year-old from Palermo, who last week won the $15,000 ITF tournament in Sharm el Sheikh (Egypt) and holds another ITF, also $15,000, in his trophy cabinet, won in Buzau (Romania), as well as four junior titles.
"È it was a year of growth, I tried to improve myself after a start not the best – declared Cinà to the microphones of Sky Sport Insider – I grew as a level and at the end of the season I felt better".
"I would like to see myself again in Djokovic, I try. I met him a few times, but I never had a chance to train with him" concluded Cinà.
