PSG-Liverpool, the probable formations

The Parc des Princes is preparing to host one of the most exciting clashes of the Champions League round of 16, with Paris Saint-Germain facing Liverpool. The two teams come to this challenge with different paths: the Parisians had difficulties in the group stage, finishing only in 15th place, but dominated Brest in the playoffs, while the Reds won the first place with an almost perfect path.

Luis Enrique’s team will line up with a 4-3-3 with Marquinhos and Pacho as a pair of central defenders. Fabian Ruiz, Joao Neves and Vitinha will play in midfield, while Kvaratskhelia returns as a starter in attack after being benched with Lille.

Slot will confirm the 4-2-3-1 with the usual formation that sees Arnold and Robertson acting as full-backs, in the median there will be Mac Allister and Gravenberch. On the outsides will play Salah and Gakpo with Szoboszlai in the three-quarter, behind the only forward Luis Diaz.
