Feyenoord-Inter: Simone Inzaghi in emergency but no change
Simone Inzaghi does not change
È an Inter team in emergency that is preparing to face Feyenoord, in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, scheduled at 6:45 p.m. at De Kuip. In particular, Simone Inzaghi will have to do without as many as four outside midfielders: Federico Dimarco, Carlos Augusto, Nicola Zalewski and Matteo Darmian.
A situation never seen before, as pointed out by the Nerazzurri coach himself in a press conference: "On the left will play one between Acerbi and Bastoni – said Inzaghi -, è an emergency that had never happened to me since I have been a coach, I have four players in the squad who can fill a role and all of them absent".
Despite the emergency, Inzaghi does not seem intent on changing the module, confirming the usual 3-5-2: it will be Bastoni’s turn to fill the role of fifth on the left with Dumfries regularly on the right lane. In defense, the left arm will be Acerbi, with De Vrij central and Pavard on the right.
A few more doubts in midfield for the Piacenza coach, who could launch Asllani and Zielinski from the first minute to give breathing space to Calhanoglu, who is not at his best, and Mkhitaryan. In attack, however, the Thuram-Lautaro Martinez pair should be confirmed.
